I think that Judgement life after death means like,

God will judge you based on the choices you have made in life, like in Matthew 25: 31 - 46, it says that "if love God and others then you will have eternal life" but there another saying in the scripture saying, "if you hate people and you hate God you will have eternal punishment, so when you die God judges you based on the choices you have made during life and he decides if you are going to heaven or hell.

It is important to reflect to your choices because, your choices are the things that help you go to heaven or hell, so every day you have to look back and think and say "hey my life is bad I need to look back and make sure my future life will be good because it depends on your choices because your choices will help you go heaven or hell.
