St Pius X Life

• Joseph Sarto was born and raised in a small village in Venice

• Joseph grew up in a big family of nine, they were poor, he had to 

sacrifice a lot of things to become a priest.

• Joseph sorta had to walk 6 kilometres to school, he took off his shoes and walked barefoot before his shoes break, and his Dad would have to buy him new ones.

My Life

• I was not born and raised in a small village, I was raised in a big city called Auckland.

• When I grew up I lived with my Mum and my Nana, and all my aunties, we weren't poor we could pay bills, and all that stuff, I don't think my family sacrificed a lot of money for me to come to this expensive school.

• When I get to school I go by car and it only takes 5 minutes, I didn’t have to take off my shoes because I was inside of a car.

The things you see on top are, me comparing my life with St Pius the X because yesterday was his feast day, and today I am comparing my life with his.

The most Similar thing about St Pius X life, and mine is that we both lived in a big family because I had a lot of aunties and all the rooms were full.
