Today we looked at bacteria, I also learned that the c section meant that when a lady gives birth and the head is too big to come out of (you know) they have to cut the stomach open to get the baby out. (its the only way)

National Young Leaders Day 2020

Yesterday Thursday 13th November 2020, me and all of the year 8s went to the national young leaders day, it was so fun and inspirational. There were 4 speakers that came and talked to us about their life and how they got successful in their lives, my favourite saying from one of the speakers are. "Find your passion word hard, strive for it, work hard for it, and turn it into a career. 

Conscience ll Thomas

What is conscience? conscience is a gift from God that helps us decide what is right and wrong, I also learn conscience from my parent's teachers and friends. 

Communion of Saints: Saint Chrisopher

 

Learn: I am learning to find a Saint and make a D.l.O about them

The saint I chose was St Christopher, he the second most famous saint out of all saints, and he was also one of those saints born in the hundreds. 

Genomics: Zebra Fish

 

At school, we have been doing the subject genomics, and in the subject, we have learned about zebrafish. 

Genomics: Ecosystems

I have learnt about the different ecosystems different types of animal live in, I chose open ocean                   ( The pacific) and I used biomass to see what is on the ecosystem which is open ocean. 

Holy faith Sisters: Charism

The Holy Faith sisters are a group of religious catholic women who pray laugh and live together. They 

tell people about the love and truth of Jesus through their actions and work.

Yesterday a man named Terry came to teach us during genomics, he taught us to describe animals using scientific words, I have made a riddle using those scientific words Terry had taught us.
